Who we are

This website is published by Sterling Suites. Each property is operated by its own legal entity, which is the data controller for bookings and stays at that property:

• Sterling Suites Ealing (43-47 New Broadway, London W5 5AH): Sterling College (London) Limited.
• Debden Guest House (42 Pield Heath Road, Uxbridge UB8 3NG): West Wimbledon College Ltd.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use a form on this site we collect your name, email address, phone number if given, your dates and your message, and send them by email to the property you chose (or to stay@sterlingsuites.co.uk). We use them to answer you. Student accommodation enquiries that mention Sterling College London may also be shared with the college’s admissions team so that your stay can be arranged with your course.

Bookings. This site does not take bookings or payments itself. When you check availability you are taken to the booking system of the property you chose. Each system has its own privacy notice, shown before you pay.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) to keep the site secure and available. We use cookie-free, aggregate analytics; this site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Legal basis

Answering your enquiry and arranging your stay is performance of a contract or steps you ask us to take before one. Security logging is our legitimate interest.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years so we can refer to earlier conversations. Booking records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Who we share it with

Our email provider (IONOS), our hosting provider (Vercel) and the booking systems above. Debden Guest House’s booking system is provided by eviivo; Sterling Suites Ealing’s by Sterling StayOS with card payments through Stripe. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, by emailing stay@sterlingsuites.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with our answer.
